Donnie Edward Parker was fatally injured while working on a construction job on. January 1, 1974. The realty on which he was working was owned by a partnership doing business as Island Properties, which consisted of James L. Williams, Donald Madjanik, William A. Dolan and George E. Darmstatter. Island Properties intended to construct a mini-warehouse facility on the property and hired Williams & Madjanik, Inc., an Ohio company, as general contractor for the project.
