This is an appeal from a judgment of the superior court of the county of Los Angeles in an action for damages for personal injuries, in which .the plaintiff was awarded the sum of three thousand five hundred dollars, with costs amounting to $524.95. The complaint alleges that-the injuries were sustained by the plaintiff at the hands of an employee of the defendant company. The case was tried by jury, and judgment was given by the court for the amount of the verdict. A motion for a new trial was thereafter interposed and denied.
