Appellant, J. R. Stroud, owned a valid gas lease on a certain 100-aere tract of land in Limestone county known as the Welch tract. Appellees Ira L. Guffey and De Arman Bros, owned a valid oil lease on the same land. - Said oil lease was junior to the gas lease held by appellant. Ap-pellees drilled a well on said tract, which well did not produce oil, but did produce gas in large quantities.
