Statement of the- facts necessary to an understanding of the decree is briefly set out as follows:

Steele-Smith Dry Goods Company was engaged in business in Birmingham, Ala., operating a department store. Some time prior to bankruptcy, it made contracts, which are so far as necessary for the purposes of this case similar, with the Steele-Smith Cloak Department, Inc., the Emporium World Millinery Company, and Steele-Smith Bootery, Inc., respectively.
