Alice M. Hatfield (Appellant) appeals from the order of the Court of Common Pleas of Westmoreland County (trial court) that granted Penn Township’s (Township) Motion for Summary Judgment (Motion). While a spectator at a girls’ softball tournament at the Penn Township Municipal Park (Park), which is owned by the Township, and which tournament was organized by the Penn Township Athletic Association (PTAA), Appellant fell and fractured her right ankle and left elbow when she stepped in a hole in a grass and dirt area between two softball fields.
