The cross-appeals in this case raise questions concerning the reemployment provisions of the Selective Training and Service Act of 1940, 50 U.S.C.A. Appendix, § 308. Petitioner has sought (a) reinstatement to the positions of office mauager and purchasing agent of respondent, and (b) payment of compensation for the period during which he was denied such restoration.
