OPINION OF THE COURT BY

MOON, J.

We granted certiorari to review a decision of the Intermediate Court of Appeals (ICA) that set aside a settlement agreement based on lack of consideration. We find that the settlement agreement was based on a disputed and unliquidated claim which the parties resolved by their promise of mutual concessions as a means of terminating their dispute. Thus, there was consideration. Accordingly, we reverse and remand for enforcement of the settlement agreement.
