This case comes before us on appeal by the defendant, Steven Parkhurst (defendant or Parkhurst), following a conviction after a jury trial in the Providence County Superior Court on charges of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, breaking into and entering a dwelling house, theft of a motor vehicle, theft of a firearm, and possession of a stolen firearm when committing a crime of violence.
