The action is for $30,000 damages for a breach by the defendant of a written contract betwixt the parties. The jury found for the plaintiff $3,200.
The contract was made November 7, 1905; the plaintiff served under it until February 7, 1913, on which day the defendant advised the plaintiff that the contract was then “terminated.” By the contract the plaintiff became the defendant’s “general agent” in five counties of the State “for the purpose of canvassing for applications for insurance on the lives of individuals, securing,…
