This is a bill to redeem a mortgage. The facts are very simple, and involve no difficulties.
On the 27th of March, 1860, one George I. Parsons made a conveyance to Almond R. Dean of the land in contro*160versy “to secure the payment of four hundred and sixty-eight dollars to said Dean by Abner E. Richardson, on or before the first day of September [then] next.” In 1870 Dean conveyed the land to defendant Marble.
