This action in mandate was brought in the name of the State on the relation of the board of school trustees of the school town of Galveston (Cass County), Indiana, and on the relation of three taxpayers, who are parents of school children, residing in the south part of Jackson Township more than three miles from the town of Galveston, against Jackson School Township in Cass County and its trustee, to compel them to- furnish transportation for such children to the school maintained in the town of Galveston, to pay certain parts of the cost of maintenance of such school in Galveston and to…
