By St. 1900, c. 387, as supplemented and amended by St. 1902, c. 508, St. 1903, c. 115, and St. 1905, c. 422, provision was made for the abolition of grade crossings in the city of Worcester. By reference, the provisions of St. 1890, c. 428, "An Act to promote the abolition of grade crossings,” and acts in amendment thereof and in addition thereto were incorporated into St. 1900, c. 387, except as otherwise therein provided.
