OPINION

FRIEDLANDER, Judge

McKendall Pompey and Tractor Supply Company (hereinafter collectively referred to as the appellants) appeal the trial court's determination that it lacked jurisdiction to grant a petition for emergency and permanent protective orders which appellants filed against Vincent L. Pryner. The appellants present several issues for review, which we consolidate and restate as:
