I. Introduction

The Defendants have filed a motion in limine to exclude any evidence or expert testimony relating to the medical screening study conducted in Libby by the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), the findings of which were published in a peer-reviewed research journal. The Defendants argue that the study is inadmissible under Fed.R.Evid. 702 because it is irrelevant and not scientifically reliable.
