Affirming.

On the 24th of June, 1907, Annie Arrowsmith was a passenger upon one of the cars of the Louisville Railway Co. going west on Market street. As the car approached the intersection of Market and Preston streets she signalled for the car to stop. It did stop at the intersection of said streets and she undertook to alight therefrom. While she was in the act of alighting, or just after she had left the car, she was thrown, or fell, violently to the ground, sustaining serious and permanent injuries.
