We granted a writ of certiorari in this case to review the opinion of the Court of Appeals in Deep South Services v. Wade, 158 Ga. App. 156 (279 SE2d 340) (1981). Prior to June, 1977, Deep South, a contractor, regularly purchased electrical materials and supplies on open account from B&W Electric Supply Co. At that time, J. D. Wade owned B&W and was chairman of its board of directors.
