This is an appeal by petitioner, Dr. John Kozy, from an order affirming the final agency decision discharging him as a faculty member of East Carolina University.

By letter dated 7 October 1986, the Chancellor of East Carolina University notified petitioner of the intent of the University to discharge petitioner from employment. At the time, petitioner was a tenured faculty member of the University’s Department of Philosophy.
