MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

JOINER, District Judge.

The plaintiff claims that his employer, Inland Tool, discharged him in breach of its collective bargaining agreement and that his local and international unions breached their duty of fair representation in processing his grievance. Jurisdiction is founded on section 301 of the Labor-Management Relations Act, 29 U.S.C. § 185, and the case is before the court now on motions for summary judgment filed by the defendants.
