RATLIFF, Chief Judge.

STATEMENT OF THE CASE

Robert E. Stanley appeals a decision of the Review Board of the Department of Employment and Training Services denying his claim for unemployment compensation. We reverse and remand.

FACTS

Robert Stanley was employed as a general laborer for United Technologies Carrier Corporation. On September 22,1987, Stanley was ill and failed to report for work. On the same day Stanley was examined by Dr. McMannis who diagnosed Stanley as suffering from a gastro virus infection.
