This is a putative class action brought by female student-athletes enrolled at St. Cloud State University ("SCSU"). The named plaintiffs, members of SCSU's varsity women's tennis and Nordic skiing teams, sued SCSU and its governing body, Minnesota State Colleges and Universities ("MSCU") (collectively, "SCSU"), following the school's announcement that it planned to eliminate several sports, including women's tennis and women's Nordic skiing.
