delivered the opinion of the Court.

A special court-martial composed of a military judge alone convicted Appellant, pursuant to his pleas, of one specification of dereliction of duty for willfully misusing his government travel card and one specification of use of cocaine, in violation of Articles 92 and 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. § 892, 912a (2000). Appellant was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for four months, and reduction to pay grade E-l.
