This is an action to recover possession of two diamond rings, alleged to be of the value of $250 each. The plaintiff alleges that she is the owner and entitled to the possession of said property. The plaintiff did not file the affidavit provided for by the statute, where immediate delivery is claimed. The defendant answers the complaint and denies the plaintiff’s ownership and right of possession of said rings, and denies that they are of the value of $250 each, or any greater sum than $125 each.
