¶1 This retaining wall collapse dispute pits owners Ryan and Holly Baddeley against STI Northwest, Inc., an engineering firm hired by the Baddeleys’ contractor, Gregory Seek, d/b/a Creative Rock Landscaping (CRL). The CRL-STI contract was formed after completion and before wall failure. The purpose was to aid the contractor in obtaining an overlooked building permit.
