This matter involves the consolidation of two appeals. In the first appeal, Lawrence A. Wajda challenges the district court’s 1 denial of his 28 U.S.C. § 2255 motion in which he alleged that his trial counsel was ineffective. In the second appeal, Wajda challenges the district court’s 2 denial of his application for a writ of habeas corpus under 28 U.S.C. § 2241 in which he argued that he was entitled to a credit on his current term of imprisonment for a parole violation for time that he was erroneously required to serve on his original sentence.
