CURTIN, District Judge.

This is a civil in rem forfeiture action brought by the United States pursuant to 21 U.S.C. § 881, against premises and real property located at 500 Delaware Street, Tonawanda, New York. Edward Isenberg, the holder of legal title to the property at the time of commencement of the action, is contesting the forfeiture, as a person claiming an ownership interest in the property.
