¶ 1. The Wisconsin Patients Compensation Fund (the Fund) appeals a published decision of the court of appeals 1 reversing an order of the La Crosse County Circuit Court. The circuit court, Judge Dennis G. Montabon presiding, held that the Fund could seek contribution for its payment in settlement of a malpractice claim from the professional liability insurer of a registered nurse, as long as it established that the nurse was negligent.
