The Zerler Coal Company was engaged in the wholesale coal business at Chicago and was managed by Charles T.. Zerler. The Illinois Fuel & Phosphate • Company was engaged in the retail coal business at Kankakee and was managed by C. H. Burnley. In August or September, and on" October 1,1917, arrangements were made between these managers, by which the Zerler Coal Company agreed to supply the Kankakee Company with coal for the winter months for its retail business in Kankakee.
