On the fourteenth day of June, 1902, E. M. Gwinn filed a petition in the probate court of Canyon county, praying to be appointed administrator of the estate of Edmund Melvin, deceased, who died intestate in said county in the month of April, 1896, and left surviving him his widow and six children. It appears that deceased at the time of his death was a resident of said county and left some estate therein.
