A jury convicted the defendant, Jesus Gambora, of murder in the first degree on theories of deliberate premeditation and felony-murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition without a firearm identification card, and eleven indictments charging armed robbery. Prior to sentencing, the judge dismissed seven of the armed robbery counts as duplicative.
