EASTAUGH, Justice. '
I. INTRODUCTION
A mother appeals the superior court’s judgment terminating her parental rights to her three oldest children. The superior court found that the children were in need of aid based on abandonment, mental injury, neglect, and parental substance abuse; that the mother had failed to remedy the conduct that placed the children at risk; that the state had made sufficient efforts to try to help the family; and that terminating the mother’s parental rights was in the children’s best interests.
