Roberts v. Chapman

Cheryl Roberts, in her capacity as trustee of the Trust for Ashleigh Renee Roberts (the “Trust”), sued Tommy Chapman asserting, primarily, he breached an oral agreement to enter into a contract for an exchange of real property. Chapman answered the suit and filed a counterclaim claiming trespass. Before the case was submitted to the jury, the trial judge directed a verdict in favor of Chapman on all of Roberts’ claims.
