Darrell J. Brown appeals from his conviction for forty-one counts of wire fraud under 18 U.S.C. §§ 1342,1343 (1988), nineteen counts of mail fraud under 18 U.S.C. §§ 1341, 1342 (1988) and one count of obstruction of justice under 18 U.S.C. § 1503 (1988). All counts relate to Brown’s alleged fraudulent receipt of thousands of dollars in benefits from the Veterans’ Administration.
