Suit was brought by Stewart & Threadgill against the El Paso & Southwestern Company and the Galveston, Harrisburg & San Antonio Railway Company for alleged damages to a shipment of goats transported over the two railroads from Tor-quoise, N. M., to Del Rio, Tex. The El Paso & Southwestern Company was dismissed, and, there being no> jury, judgment was rendered by the court against plaintiffs as to the Galveston, Harrisburg & San Antonio Railway Company. Plaintiffs seasonably requested the trial judge to file his findings of fact and conclusions of law as provided in Revised Statutes, arts.…
