_[_¡A jury found appellant Robert James guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced him to life imprisonment for killing Tony Rice. The attorney appointed to represent appellant on appeal of the conviction has filed a motion to withdraw as counsel and a no-merit brief. Anders v. California, 386 U.S. 738, 87 S.Ct. 1396, 18 L.Ed.2d 493 (1967), and Arkansas Supreme Court Rule 4-3(k) (2010) set the requirements for withdrawal of counsel for a defendant in a criminal case after a notice of appeal has been filed on the basis that an appeal is without merit.1 In accordance with Rule 4 — 3(k)(2), our…
