The defendant plan and zoning commission of the town of Fairfield held a public hearing on November 28, 1967, on the application of the defendant Albert A. Garofalo, seeking to amend the zoning map by changing the classification of a parcel of his land consisting of approximately 6.8 acres from a residence A district to a designed residence district No. 1, hereinafter sometimes referred to as DRD-1.
