The plaintiff, J. Edgar Hughey, brought action against Fergus county and Claude C. White, superintendent of the county poor farm, for damages for injuries inflicted upon him by a bull owned by the county. The basis of the action is negligence in failing to keep an allegedly vicious bull confined. The defendants joined issue by separate answers; White alleged contributory negligence; the county did not. The case was tried to a jury in November, 1933.
