LEWIS A. KAPLAN, District Judge.
This case arises from the collapse of the United States residential mortgage market and its alleged effect on a type of mortgage-backed security. The securities, known as mortgage-pass through certificates (“Certificates”), were issued by Indy-Mac MBS, Inc. (“IndyMac MBS”) in 106 different offerings pursuant to three registration statements and the related prospectuses and prospectus supplements (the “Offering Documents”).
