Defendant Michael Johnson was convicted by a jury of: (1) conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 5 grams or more of cocaine base (21 U.S.C. § 846 and § 841(a)(1)); (2) being a felon in possession of a firearm (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1)); (3) possession with intent to distribute cocaine base (21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1) and 18 U.S.C. § 2); and (4) possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense (18 U.S.C. § 924(c)(l)(A)(i) and § 2).
