O’KELLEY, Chief Judge.

This case came before the court for a nonjury trial on March 25, 1991, after default judgment was granted for plaintiff Jesse L. Harper (Harper) in his lawsuit under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1692 et seq. (FDCPA). After careful consideration, the court awards plaintiff costs and statutory damages in the amount of $1,000. The court reserves ruling on plaintiff’s request for attorneys’ fees and directs UAW Legal Services to submit information by affidavit or otherwise, within ten days from the daté this order is issued, regarding attorney…
