MEMORANDUM

GILES, District Judge.

During a trip to St. Thomas in February, 1986, Bridget Manahan was physically assaulted by an unknown male who attempted to snatch her purse. She lost an eye as a result. She brought suit against the Yacht Haven Hotel and MLT Vacations alleging that their negligence was a proximate cause of her injuries. On January 10, 1992, after consideration of briefs and oral argument, summary judgment was granted in favor of defendants. 821 F.Supp. 1105.1 Before the court are plaintiffs motion for reconsideration, the defendants’ answers, and the parties’ replies thereto.…
