The petition filed by the defendant in error, plaintiff below, set forth several causes of action, the first four of which were in the nature of an action to quiet title to lots one and two, and the .east half of the northeast quarter of section seven, township twenty-seven, range 1, in Sedgwick county. After alleging that plaintiff below was the owner and in the possession of the premises, it set out a tax deed executed to the plaintiff in error, defendant below, on October 30, 1879.
