This appeal is from a judgment on a jury verdict awarding the plaintiffs $250,000 in compensatory damages and $250,000 in punitive damages in an action alleging breach of contract and fraud. Abram Brown, Jr., and Rosie Nell Holcombe brought this action against United Companies Financial Corporation, Inc.
