OPINION OF THE COURT

KANE, Judge:

Pursuant to his pleas, the appellant was convicted by a military judge sitting as a general court-martial of driving while intoxicated, wrongful appropriation of government property of a value in excess of $100.00, two specifications of simple as-, sault, one specification of assault with a dangerous weapon, and wrongful discharge of a firearm under circumstances such as to endanger human life, violations of Articles 111, 121, 128, 134 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 911, 921, 928, and 934 (1982).
