The Pawloski claim was for assault and battery, medical expenses and humiliation and mental anguish allegedly sustained by the claimant incident to and as the result of an arrest by the State Police on June 20, 1960. The Zielinski claim was for assault and battery, unlawful arrest and detention, medical expense and mental suffering allegedly sustained by the claimant incident to and as the result of an arrest by the State Police on the same date.
