Plaintiff Stanislawa Sulkowska (“plaintiff’) commenced this action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 (“Section 1983”) and New York state law seeking compensatory and punitive damages arising out of her arrest on charges of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, forgery in the second degree, criminal simulation, and resisting arrest.
