An information was filed in the district court of Cascade county against the defendant, charging him with obtaining money under false pretenses. A motion was made to set aside and quash the information, which was denied by the trial court. A demurrer was thereafter interposed to the information and overruled by the court. The defendant entered a plea of not guilty, and a trial of the cause resulted in a verdict of guilty, fixing the punishment at imprisonment in the state penitentiary for one year; judgment was entered in accordance therewith.
