These cases have been as vexatious to us as they were to the litigants, lawyers and trial court during the eight and a half years they have been pending. They began as a simple suit on an unsecured note for $20,-088.24 and a plea of payment. Later, a suit was filed by one of the plaintiffs in that action, a former ward, against his guardian and the sureties on her bonds for an accounting and recovery.
