I. Background
On June 12, 2009, Plaintiffs John Cottillion and Beverly Eldridge filed this class action under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. § 1001 et seq., against United Refining Company, the United Refining Company Salaried Employees Pension Plan (the “Plan”), and the Retirement Committee responsible for administering the Plan.
