On appeal from her conviction of aiding and abetting first-degree burglary, second-degree assault, and attempted first-degree aggravated robbery, appellant argues that the district court erred by (1) sustaining the state’s gender-based Batson challenges to her exercise of peremptory strikes of two potential male jurors; (2) failing to give an accomplice-testimony jury instruction; (3) limiting her testimony that her alleged criminal conduct was motivated by fear for her children’s safety; and (4) imposing an upward-durational-departure sentence.
