On December 24, 1936, plaintiff, while a passenger on a bus operated by defendant, was injured when defendant’s driver, in attempting to make a turn, drove off the highway and caused the side of the bus to smash into a tree. On the trial, the jury rendered a verdict in favor of the plaintiff in the amount of $3,350 and costs.
